# Source observations

Status: pending. No data file is published in this directory yet.

This is how OurClarke sees each source before reconciliation. It is provenance, not conclusion. Rows here are per-source observations, not released claims. Released state lives in the corpus bundle.

When it is published, the file will be JSON Lines (one JSON object per line), listed with its size and SHA-256 in the top-level manifest at https://ourclarke.com/data/manifest.json, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0).

Two things follow from what the file is:

- An observation records what one source says. Two sources that disagree each keep their own row; the disagreement is not resolved here.
- A value in this file is not a fact Our Clarke has released. To find what Our Clarke publishes as established, use the released record, not this file.
