W. Roller for agriculture, Ruth Royston and Bettie Teel Miller for the high school, Katharine Jones for home economics, and four teachers covering the first through seventh grades.

What the source supports
That the appointment list placed an agriculture teacher, high school teachers, a home economics teacher and teachers for every grade from the first to the seventh under the one heading Boyce High School.
Uncertainty
Read from uncorrected OCR, not from the page image. The principal's surname is printed 'Rovston' and is read as Royston, the spelling the same entry gives Ruth Royston. The headline announces a new Boyce principal, but the item as read does not name the previous one, and no relationship between Winter Royston and Ruth Royston is assumed. The list records appointments announced in July, not who taught during the session.
