The Clarke Courier of July 19, 1923, in a list of teacher appointments already made for the county's schools, lists Miss Clara Rush under Riverside.

What the source supports

That Clara Rush was among the teachers listed for the Riverside school in the Courier's appointments of July 1923.

Uncertainty

Read from uncorrected OCR, not from the page image. The list calls itself partially complete, and it records appointments announced in July, not who taught during the session. It gives no location, grades or enrollment for the school; none is inferred. Attendance reports earlier in 1923 print a "Miss C. Rush" and a "Miss Rush"; they are not cited, and she is not joined to them here.
