Uncertainty
Read from uncorrected OCR, not from the page image. The July OCR splits her surname as "Hol land"; the September notice prints it whole. The July list records appointments announced for the session, not who taught during it. The September notice speaks of the principal of the high school and of two buildings without naming the school; it is read as Berryville High School because its principal and teachers match the July list.
