What happens to what you send

What happens to it: the form sends what you type to Mike Oak, who runs this project, by email, and a copy is kept in the site’s private form inbox at Netlify, the company that hosts this site. Nothing is added to the site automatically. A person reads it, checks it against the sources, and decides.

Your email is never published and is used only to follow up about what you sent. Your name appears on the site only if you tick the credit box.

Please do not send anything about a living person that they would not want public.

What are you telling us about?

What should it say?

The date, place, name or wording you are proposing.

How do you know?

For example: a family member, a headstone or marker, a published book, or what the photo shows. Please do not include phone numbers or addresses.
